What verification actually means
Verification means that a named, attributable source supports a particular promotion for a specific audience at a documented point in time. It does not mean the publisher can guarantee future operation, universal legality, account eligibility, payment acceptance or successful withdrawal.
A working code for one new account in one country cannot be generalised to every reader. Nor does a promotional image, recycled coupon listing or an automatically updated year establish that a campaign is active.
Our six checks
- Source: determine who is responsible for the promotion and identify the exact terms page.
- Market: check the specified jurisdiction, currency and whether use is legally permitted.
- Eligibility: identify new or existing customer restrictions, account history, age requirements and payment exclusions.
- Headline: compare the advertised percentage or free spins with the cap, qualifying deposit and covered products.
- Conditions: capture wagering, odds thresholds, eligible markets or games, withdrawal treatment and opt-in steps.
- Dates: record the actual verification date, campaign expiry and any separate time limit for completing the requirements.
Evidence thresholds and statuses
Verified for a defined market: a currently accessible, credible campaign source supports the offer and material conditions for that market. Unverified: the source, conditions, market or active status cannot be substantiated. Expired: the offer’s documented end date has passed or the source marks it ended. Needs review: a material term changed or the existing evidence is no longer sufficiently current.
The status should sit close to the offer, with important caveats clearly presented. A “verified” label must never be interpreted as an operator guarantee or endorsement.
Reading and comparing bonus restrictions
For a sportsbook promotion, relevant terms may include odds minima, accumulators, bet types, excluded markets, void bets, qualifying turnover and settlement time. Casino terms may instead include free-spin game restrictions, game contribution rates, stake caps, win limits and withdrawal rules. A multipler shown without its base amount and eligible activity is incomplete.
A reported sports bonus and a reported casino package cannot be compared fairly unless the products, deposit structure, currency and cash-withdrawal rules are understood. See the main promo code guide for a longer explanation of these terms.
Third-party and exclusive codes
Codes labelled exclusive by another publisher may be tied to that publisher’s commercial arrangement. We do not treat them as authorised for this site without independent permission and matching campaign terms. The presence of a code on a competitor website is evidence of a claim, not ownership, portability or universal validity.

What readers can verify for themselves
- Confirm the precise operator domain and avoid impersonation sites.
- Check the live offer terms for your country before registering or depositing.
- Read what happens if a promotion is cancelled or a withdrawal is requested.
- Take note of the expiry and how restricted bonus funds are displayed.
- Ask the legitimate operator support team about account-specific uncertainty.
Do not create duplicate accounts or bypass regional restrictions. For risk information, see Responsible Gambling.
